Because this is a round tube rack which is curve shaped, the majority of it curves out of sight under the vehicle. The finish was excellent and despite the fact that it ships without a box, it arrived in fine shape with all hardware. It came with a drop "stinger" (but no ball, of course) and a black plastic plug for the receiver. This is a bolt-up install and as such is very easy to attach.
